Cottage + Crane began several years ago with a small riverfront cottage and a love for creating a home that felt true to its history. With original hardwood floors, exposed beams, an oversized brick hearth, and the timeworn character of an old fisherman’s cottage, the space inspired us to search for furnishings and décor that felt equally warm, rustic, and full of personality.

What started as a hunt for the right pieces quickly became much more than a hobby. We found ourselves always searching for the next beautiful vintage find, and before long, our collection had outgrown our home. Creating layered, collected spaces became a favorite creative outlet, leading us to participate in outdoor vintage fairs and markets before eventually bringing the concept into year-round shop spaces.

As our family grew, we stepped away for a time to slow down and enjoy a new season of life. But the love for vintage, home, and thoughtful design never left. With encouragement from friends and family, we knew it was time to return.
